Restorative Practice Training for Primary and Secondary School Teachers

This comprehensive certified training is designed to equip teachers with a strong foundation in the core elements of Restorative Practice for Secondary School Teachers.

Participants learn over 3 online sessions how to apply restorative principles in teaching and learning, effectively resolve conflicts, and address potential bullying issues in both the classroom and the entire school environment.

Course Format: Each session lasts 90 minutes and includes a mix of engaging components, such as PowerPoint presentations, instructional videos, and valuable experiential input from the facilitator. The three sessions are spread over 2-3 months, allowing participants to practice and apply the elements introduced in each session in their classrooms. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and insights within the supportive course community.

Cineáltas Action Plan on Bullying: This training supports the Department of Education's recently published action plan on bullying - Cineáltas - as a proactive, non reactionary and preventative strategy when it comes to bullying cycles in primary schools.

Whether you are looking to implement Restorative Practice in your own classroom or on a whole-school basis, this course will provide you with essential tools to begin your restorative journey with the children you teach.
